Carbone’s Restaurant of Crabtree,  in conjunction with Saint Vincent College, are hosting the:

Sixth Annual Pasta Engineering Contest

Yes, that’s right…a competition to build a bridge using uncooked pasta noodles.  We want to remind you to SAVE THE DATE for your school to participate in the 2012 Pasta Engineering Contest.

This engineering challenge is designed to increase high school students’ awareness about engineering and careers in engineering.  The purpose is to have the students work together to build the strongest bridge using the materials provided.

To secure your registration, please return the enclosed pre-registration form.  For additional forms or more information contact Natalie Stefanick at Carbone’s Restaurant at 724-834-3430 or email  Natalie at carbonepasta@yahoo.com and you will be added to the materials distribution list.

We, along with our sponsors, will provide all of the materials necessary to compete in the contest.  You only have to contribute your time & guidance to the selected group of students from your school.  Thank you in advance for your interest in our Pasta Engineering Contest.

For the first time, the display of bridges and contest will be held at the new Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion at Saint Vincent College.
